Did you know they held the White House Correspondents Dinner last night?
I didn’t until I read it this morning.
How did what has always been a major league political/media event turn into a little-league nothingburger?
Maybe because, as in his first term, President Trump did not attend.
And this year, probably due to the controversy over comments made by them in previous years, there was no comedian performing either.
So without the President and without the entertainment, it devolved into little more than a bunch of “journalists” stuffing their faces.
