Today’s quote comes to us from mahmoud abbas, the unelected* “President” of the Palestinian Authority – the so-called “moderate” Palestinian Arab faction which controls Judea and Samaria (aka the west bank).
Here is what abbas has to say about Donald Trump’s pledge to move our embassy from Tel Aviv to its capital city of Jerusalem:
“We heard a lot of statements relating to moving the US embassy, which we hope are not correct and will not be implemented, but if implemented then the peace process in the Middle East, and even peace in the world, will be in a crisis we will not be able to come out from”

We move our embassy to Jerusalem, and not only will the “peace process” – which, everyone knows is moving along so well – be in crisis, but world peace – which we all can see in places like Syria, Libya, Iran, Darfur etc. etc. etc., etc. etc., will be just as damaged, just as much “in a crisis we will not be able to come out from”.
Too bad about those poor, mistreated, misunderstood Palestinian Arabs, though; the ones who kept making peace offers that Israel rejected all these years, and who refused to sign a unity agreement with terrorist hamas, because its charter calls for Israel to be vaporized and every Jew around the world to be killed….
…oh, wait. It was Palestinian Arabs who refused every peace offer ever made, and who fully agreed to sign a unity agreement with the hamas charter intact. Sorry about that.
I award mahmoud abbas Quote Of The Day “honors” for showing us – again, for the umpteenth time – what a phony lying sack of manure he is.
The second that Donald Trump moves our embassy to Jerusalem is the second it will be celebration time for me.
And as I’ve said before, if what passes for leadership at the UN – Useless and Neutered as it is – doesn’t like this, then I suggest they DO something about it. Let them test Donald Trump’s resolve. I can’t wait to see what it gets them.
