Today’s quote comes to us from a David Brooks, a New York Times op-ed columnist I used to think not very much of, but now have no respect for at all.
Here’s his quote – his obnoxious, elitist, superior quote:
“…basically, less educated or high school-educated whites are going to Trump. It doesn’t matter what the guy does. And college-educated going to Clinton. Everyone is dividing based on demographic categories. And, sometimes, you get the sense that the campaign barely matters. People are just going with their gene pool and whatever it is. And that is one of the more depressing aspects of this race for me.
Do you need me to tell you why David Brooks wins Quote Of The Day (dis)honors?
What a pompous, arrogant, jerk.
I wonder what Brooks would have said if a Trump supporter made that comment about the percentage of Black voters without high school degrees who vote straight Democrat.
It would be like looking at a selfie.
