Today’s quote – which actually was made almost 6 years ago – comes to us from James Talerico, the newly crowned Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate from Texas.
Yes, he actually said this:
“White skin gives me and every white American immunity from the virus. But we spread it wherever we go—through our words, our actions, and our systems. We don’t have to be showing symptoms—like a white hood or a Confederate flag—to be contagious.”
If a White racist characterized all Black people in an overtly negative way, what would you call that person other than a flat-out racist? Would you vote for a flat out racist?

Great pick, Democrats. The best thing I can say about it is that his alternative, Jasmine Crockett, might – MIGHT – have been worse.
