Today\’s quote comes to us from Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) – who, it should be noted, is not up for re-election this year.
Speaking of the ebola virus, this is what Mr. Nelson had to say:
“Itwould seem that another means of reducing the chances of exposure tothe virus here at home would be to temporarily suspend unnecessarytravel to the United States under existing visas and the new issuanceof visas for citizens of countries the CDC identifies as areas withhigh rates of infections”
To which I reply….yes, exactly. Of course.
I award Bill Nelson Quote Of The Day honors for breaking free of the Democrat partisan thicket and talking common sense – something all too many of his Democrat colleagues seem incapable of doing, even when lives are at stake.
Congratulations, Senator. And what a terrible shame it is, that you are so alone among your fellow party members.
