Today\’s quote comes from a personal favorite of President Obama\’s; the self-professed communist Van Jones.
Jones, who was a “Green Jobs” advisor for the Obama administration until some of the loonier elements of his past caught up with him (e.g., aside from being a communist, he signed a petition indicating that 9/11 was an inside job) and he was forced to resign, has a great idea: blame Republicans for ebola.
And what is his rationale for doing so? Here\’s your answer, straight from Jones\’ appearance, this morning, on ABC\’s This Week show:
“Wecan\’t let the Republicans get away with some of the stuff they\’redoing this week, just trying to bash Obama. Hey, you know, government is always your enemy until you need a friend. This Ebolathing is the best argument you can make for the kind of governmentthat we believe in.”
Hey, there you go. How dare those Republicans bash Obama. Did Democrats ever have a bad word to say about Bush? So what are we going to do about it. Why not tell the sucke…er, informed voters that Ebola would be a problem, a real cause for concern, if it weren\’t for the government – i.e. the Obama administration.
Yep, Mr. Obama and his people certainly have done a bang-up job of containing the ebola virus and making us all confident there\’s nothing to worry about. I mean, look at all the specific steps it has taken. Why it has….uh………uh……..er……..ahh……….uh…….er,…… wellllllll, how about those Cubbies!
I award Van Jones Quote Of The Day honors for showing us just how desperate Obama and his people are to find something – anything – to deflect voters from noticing what an abysmally failed administration this is on so many fronts it is actually hard to keep up with them all.
Heck, even his name is relevant. Because, after election day, I have a feeling a bunch of his Democrat comrades are going to need a moving “Van”.
