THE PARAGRAPH OF THE DAY

Ken Berwitz

Today\’s paragraph comes to us from Matthew Vadum, a conservative who avidly dislikes Hillary Clinton – far from an unusual combination.

In his latest piece, which attacks media for intentionally misdefining Donald Trump\’s use of the term “schlong”, writes this about Ms. Clinton\’s record regarding radical Islam:

Her Arab Spring mischief set the Middle East on fire whenshe was President Obama\’s top diplomat. Huma Abedin, whose generational ties tothe Muslim Brotherhood have been exhaustively documented, has been influencingher by working as her senior aide for years. Clinton helped to engineer theouster of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, an anti-Islamist, and thesubsequent installation of his Muslim Brotherhood-approved successor MohamedMorsi. Clinton gave Libya to the jihadists when she supported the overthrow ofchastened former U.S. adversary Muammar Qaddafi. She has no quarrel with themullahs of Iran getting their hands on nuclear weapons. She sat idly by asIslamic State grew after the Obama administration abandoned Iraq. Hillary\’sbody count grows daily.

I do not always agree with what Matthew Vadum writes – including parts of this commentary.  But the paragraph you just read is an excellent compendium of Ms. Clinton\’s positions regarding radical Islam, and what those positions have resulted in.

In particular, Mr. Vadum\’s description of Huma Abedin\’s family – Mother, father and brother in case you\’re wondering – is spot-on.   I\’ve asked this before, and I\’ll ask it again here:  why do you suppose Ms. Abedin\’s family apparently had no problem with her marriage to a Jew … a Jew who was, at the time, a powerful congressperson with ambitions of becoming the Mayor of New York and its million-plus Jewish population?

Astounding, isn\’t it, that virtually no one in mainstream media will look into this impossible contradiction?  Why?  Because it leads to who Huma Abedin is, where and what she comes from?  Which, in turn, goes straight to Hillary Clinton\’s judgment in having her as a close confidante, and could obviously affect her political future…i.e. whether she becomes President of the United States?

I award Matthew Vadum Paragraph Of The Day honors for outlining the “accomplishments” of Hillary Clinton that neither she, nor, apparently, her toadies in mainstream media, want you to be thinking about.
