Just a couple of days ago, upon learning that multiple women – not political enemies but his own staff members – had come forth to describe repulsive sexual behavior by Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), Nancy Pelosi informed us that Conyers was “an icon” and that he should be afforded “due process” (just like the due process she advocated for Roy Moor….oh, wait).
But now, a couple of days later, with exactly the same information about Conyers that was out there when she first spoke, Ms. Pelosi says:
“The allegations against Congressman Conyers, as we have learned more since Sunday are serious, disappointing and very credible. It’s very sad and the brave women who came forward are owed justice. I will pray for Congressman Conyers and his family, and wish them well. However Congressman Conyers should resign.”
Why the “uey”, Ms. Pelosi? Why the 180 degree turnaround?
Maybe because your initial statement was universally panned, even by media that usually find ways to either ignore or rationalize the increasing number of ridiculous comments you are making these days?
Amazing, isn’t it? All it took was media treating Ms. Pelosi like…like…like she deserved nonpartisan coverage, and she suddenly became Isolep Ycnan.
Let’s hope this never happens to anyone with the last name Elohssa.
