THE GOLDEN GLOBES ATTACKS

The first entertainment awards show of the season, The Golden Globes, will take place tonight.

Anyone want to take bets on how many entertainment people will use this forum, which celebrates acting ability, to attack Donald Trump and Republicans?

To fantasize that anyone cares about their political views?

To make their bones by showing the big shots in Hollywood they are part of the in crowd; the politically correct people; the ones who should be considered for that next major project?

I would hope the answer is none of them.  I would hope entertainers would remember that they are just that; entertainers.  That their fans are not supposed to be a captive audience for their political wit and wisdom.

I would hope that.  But I don’t expect it.

We’ll see.
