THE EMAIL SCANDAL – DEEPER AND MORE DISHONEST

Would it surprise you to know that Hillary Clinton’s email scandal is deepening?  That another lie has been uncovered?

I would hope not, given that Ms. Clinton has lied about the emails from day one, and that – in no small part because of her serial dishonesty – the scandal has continued to deepen since.

Here is the latest, from an article at CBS News – hardly an enemy of the Clinton campaign:

The FBI has found emails related to Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state on the laptop belonging to the estranged husband of Huma Abedin, Anthony Weiner, according to a U.S. official.

These emails, CBS News’ Andres Triay reports, are not duplicates of emails found on Secretary Clinton’s private server. At this point, however, it remains to be seen whether these emails are significant to the FBI’s investigation into Clinton. It is also not known how many relevant emails there are.

In a letter to Congress last Friday, FBI Director James Comey indicated that the agency was taking steps to review newly discovered emails relating to Clinton’s private email server. Those emails came from the laptop of Weiner, a former New York congressman. Abedin reportedly said she had no knowledge of the existence of any of her emails on Weiner’s laptop. On Monday, CBS News reported that the FBI had obtained a warrant for the emails

First there were no State Department emails at all, only emails relating to yoga classes, wedding plans, that kind of thing.  Then there were no classified emails.  Then there were no emails marked classified.  Then, OK, I apologize for using a non-secure server and making all State Department activity fully available to every country with even a moderate intelligence capability, and deleting/scrubbing/bleaching tens of thousands of emails you’re asking for… can’t we just forget the whole thing?

Then there were no emails on Huma Abedin’s computer. Then there were emails, but just the same stuff you already saw on mine, then there were some emails on the computer disgraced sex addict (and prime candidate for blackmailing) Anthony Weiner also used, but they were the same stuff you already know about.

Now, there are emails on that computer that haven’t been seen, and who knows what kind of information is on them.

If there is a hall of fame for lying to our faces, they will have to build a separate wing for Hillary Clinton.

And if there is anything – ANYTHING – of a sensitive nature on the Abedin/Weiner computer, Ms. Abedin – Hillary Clinton’s single closest aide for years and years – and Clinton herself, are fully indictable…and probably convictable as well.
