Iran has continued to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed…except for a few ships. That is a direct rejection of the supposedly agreed-upon ceasefire.
Iran says it will allow a dozen tankers a day through (a small fraction of the usual traffic)…but will charge each tanker $1 million dollars to do so. That is a direct rejection of the supposedly agreed-upon ceasefire.
Iran has bombed Israel and neighboring Arab states since the ceasefire was supposed to have been implemented. That is a direct rejection of the supposedly agreed-upon ceasefire.
Iran has demanded that Israel not take any military action against hezbollah in Lebanon, even though Israel/Lebanon has nothing to do with the terms of the ceasefire.
If that isn’t falling apart, what is?
Iran cannot be trusted to do anything it says it will do. Its current “leadership” – what’s left of it after we took out so many of them – is just as dishonest/duplicitous as the ones we took out.
I can only hope President Trump understands this and will act accordingly…
…as I can only hope that the people of Iran see this as well, understand what we may have to do, and also act accordingly.
