Newt Gingrich has been dropped as a contributor to Fox News Channel, to avoid political conflicts.
NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell is reporting that Donald Trump will announce his Vice President selection on Friday.
It could be a case of coincidental timing.
Or it could be the biggest mistake Donald Trump will have made as a Presidential candidate.
Forget what you think of his politics: who likes this guy? When he ran for President, name the Republicans who supported him. Can you come up with even one?
That media don’t like him is de rigueur for a Republican candidate. That his own people in his own party don’t like him is another story…and a telling one.
Why would voters feel any differently?
Like I said, the timing could be nothing more than coincidental.
Trump fans better hope so.
I liked Newt Gingrich very much years ago, I found him to be one of the most well informed people in the country. I haven’t followed him in many years though. If Trump picks him it will show he has someone with major policy experience in his administration.
P.S. I do agree he is not liked by msm.
Gingrich for Chief of Staff ….. has the grasp of DC political process, contacts, credibility.
Palin for Sec of Interior.
Rodham-Clinton for Prison.
Giuliani for cabinet position.
Christie for Attorney General.
I would think Giuliani would make a perfect Attorney General or a great VP.
Giuliani as a Vice President pick would be inspired.
Could you imagine bringing common sense back to government??? How refreshing it would be. The well of liberty refilled.
