JUST IN CASE RICK PERRY\’S INDICTMENT WASN\’T FARCICAL ENOUGH….

Excerpted from Brian Sikma\’s article at mediatrackers.org:.

RhoChalmers, who disclosedto the Houston Chronicle yesterday that she was a member of thegrand jury that indicted Texas Gov. Rick Perry, was an activedelegate to the Texas Democratic Party convention during grand juryproceedings. Chalmers\’ active participation in Democratic statepolitics is important because she claimed yesterday to the HoustonChronicle that her decision to indict Perry, a Republican, was notbased on politics.

“Forme, it\’s not a political decision,” Chalmers toldthe newspaper. “That\’s what a grand jury is about – takethe emotion out of it and look at the facts and make your bestdecision based on your life experience.”

Moretroubling, however, is the fact that Chalmers attended, photographed, and commented on an event with Democratic state Sen. Kirk Watsonwhile grand jury proceedings were ongoing.

Not a political decision? Spoken by a Democrat activist who just happened to sit on the grand jury which indicted Governor Rick Perry for the “crime” of exercising his veto power?

If you believe this, you will believe anything.

I didn\’t think Perry\’s indictment could be more farcical than it already is. But Rho Chalmers has changed my mind.
