Joe Biden and his people have made it pretty clear that they are going all-out to gain support from young voters – especially college voters.
With that in mind, how do you suppose they are reacting to findings drawn from the latest Harvard CAPS/Harris poll?

A majority of Generation Z voters believe former President Donald Trump would shake up the country for the better if he returns to the White House following the November election, according to a new poll.
The survey posed the question: “Do you think Donald Trump is someone who will shake up the country for the better or do you think he is a danger to democracy and will hopelessly divide the country if elected?”
Among respondents between the ages of 18 and 24, 65 percent said they believe he would “shake up the country for the better,” while only 35 percent view him as a “danger to democracy,” according to the poll, which surveyed 2,022 registered voters from February 21 to 22.
Every age group except for 65 or older agreed that Trump would shake up the country for good, but Gen Z had the largest majority of voters who said so, the survey found. Across all age groups, 56 percent of respondents said he would positively shake up the country, while 44 percent said they believe he is dangerous.
Yes, political polls are very dangerous to take at face value. And, yes, even if they are accurate, things can change in a hurry.
But if these findings are anywhere near reality, it is panic-time for Democrats.
Think about it:
-Joe Biden is demanding that huge amounts of taxpayers’ money be spent to “forgive” college student loans.
-In doing so, he is alienating a great many people who are also paying loans – like for their house, their car, or just to make ends meet – because Biden’s “forgiveness” not only excludes their loans, but requires them to subsidize some college kid’s loans as well.
-And what is the age group of most college students? Isn’t it 18 – 24? The same age group he is trying to buy votes from with loan forgiveness?
Alienating voters in one group (a very, very large one) to suck up to another group…and then finding out that the sucked-up-to group may prefer the guy you’re running against anyway? That, folks, is a holy excrement situation for Biden & Co. if ever there was one.
Let me again point out that a) political polls are always suspect and b) in any event, people’s attitudes can certainly change.
But if I were the Biden camp, this poll would put me on tranquilizers and keep me up tonight.
Let’s see what they do next. It certainly should be more than a little interesting.
