President Trump has announced a 60 day extension of the cease-fire with Iran. He assures us that the only deal he will sign off on requires Iran give up all its nuclear capabilities and open up the Strait of Hormuz with no “fees” paid for passage through it.
Who is he dealing with? Who is in charge there? How long will the current “leadership” (if you can call it that) even be in charge?
And why would we believe a word they, -or anyone else in charge within the current regime – agree to about anything, let alone giving up all nuclear materials?
On its surface, all this looks like is a 60 day window for Iran to strengthen/re-arm while they string us along.
The only thing that gives me hope is the fact that Trump is a hardass who, I hope, would not allow this to happen…and the possibility (probability?) that there is a lot going on that we are not being told about.
There better be.
