Just how close is Hillary Clinton\’s campaign to summarily ending?

Well, if you believe the folks at MSNBC\’s Morning Joe show, she is rapidly approaching fourth down and long.

Excerpted from Steve Guest\’s article at dailycaller.com:

MSNBC\’s Joe Scarborough said Friday that sources have toldhim that the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton is “far more advanced thanwe the public knows.”

Friday on “Morning Joe,” panelist Cokie Roberts predictedthat if Hillary Clinton gets indicted, her run for president would be “over.”

“Most of us around thistable are hearing from multiple sources … that the Hillary Clintoninvestigation [by] the FBI is far more progressed,” Scarborough said. “Mika andI have been hearing it from the top officials in the Obama administration foractually several months now, and we can\’t go to a meeting in Washington wherewe don\’t hear this.”

(Panelist Mark) Halperin explained that evensome in the White House have begun to discuss the investigation … “thebody language among some Obama administration officials is this is more seriousand something is going to happen. Again, the timing of it could be if notcataclysmic, pretty bad for Secretary Clinton if Sen. Sanders is still alive.”

NPR\’s Cokie Roberts, also a panelist on “Morning Joe,” said, “Look, if there\’s an indictment, it\’s over. [Clinton\’s] out.And then [the Democrats] go find you know the \’break glass in emergency\’ box, and I suppose what happens then is you see Joe Biden.”

Bottom of Form

Are they right?  Is this investigation – the one most media, very much including the far leftistas of MSNBC, said was nothing with nothing just a month or two ago – reaching critical mass?

Well, maybe.  But who cares?  There\’s no problem here.  Why, Bill Clinton will be there to save the day, because he is so hugely popu……uh, hold on there.

According to the latest CBS News/New York Times poll, Bill Clinton\’s personal approval rating has dropped to a remarkable 39%.  This is a man who left the White House in 2001 with ratings in the 50\’s, and has been heralded by mainstream media ever since, as a great President who the people just love to death.

Tell you what:  39% is far less an example of being loved to death, than it is an example of being a deathly presence for whomever he is campaigning for.  And that whomever is Hillary Clinton.

Joe Biden has said that he regrets leaving the presidential race every day.  If Cokie Roberts (a lifelong Democrat) is right, he won\’t be regretful very much longer.
