For they sow the wind, and they reap the whirlwind…: Hosea 8:7
Hillary Clinton was ambushed by #blacklivesmatter protesters again. This time it was at a fundraising event in Charleston, South Carolina.
The protesters were demanding that Ms. Clinton apologize for a comment she made during husband Bill’s 1996 re-election campaign, in support of his strong anti-crime legislation.
Her exact words at that time:
“We need to take these people on. They are often connected to big drug cartels. They are not just gangs of kids anymore. They are often the kinds of kids that are called ‘super-predators’. No conscience, no empathy. We can talk about why they ended up that way, but first we have to bring them to heel.”
Is that statement a problem to you? It sure isn’t to me.
But to a member of the racist hate group #blacklivesmatter, the fact that what Ms. Clinton said makes sense is not relevant. The only relevant issue is that it was said about Black people.
Never mind that Ms. Clinton was not talking about Black people in general, but the specific Black people who were the scourge of their neighborhoods and therefore, primarily victimizing other, innocent Black people. To these racist haters, anything negative that is said about any Black, especially by a White, is unacceptable.
So the protesters demanded an apology.
And guess what: they got two of them: a statement of regret from Hillary Clinton and an outright apology from Hubby Bubba.
According to Eugene Scott’s article at CNN.com:
Wonderful.
We have the presumptive Presidential nominee of a major party apologizing for saying that law enforcement should come down on the hardest of hard criminals in Black neighborhoods. Why? Because the criminals are Black – just like most of their victims.
Isn’t this the same attitude that is causing cities like Baltimore and Chicago, where police are literally afraid to aggressively patrol, for fear of people like the #blacklivesmatter crowd – supported by people like Hillary Clinton – destroying their lives?
And when you cave in like this once, you will be expected to do it again. And again.
Hillary Clinton’s cowardly, calculated suckup spectacular is a classic example of what happens when you bow down to the haters to win a few votes. You may get the votes – Hillary Clinton is the big winner in that regard. But at what price?
Ask Hosea. he knows.

I don’t get it, that generic 1996 statement doesn’t mention the race of the criminals.
You would have to be a racist or a moron [maybe both] to think she was talking specifically about Blacks.
