Adam Milstein is a managing partner at Hager Pacific Properties, a philanthropist, and an avid fighter against anti-Semitism.
Mr. Milstein knows very well where the largest body of anti-Semitism is in today’s United States, and he is not shy about saying so.
Here is his latest commentary on the subject:
Finally, an honest voice is saying out loud what we have been continuously repeating: Jew hatred has consumed the Democratic Party.
On a recent episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz admitted that antisemitism has not been pushed aside, it has grown inside his party. “We’ve tried to not talk about it… it is everywhere,” he said.
This admission is not surprising, but it is an important step toward accountability.
When you see college protesters shouting “Go back to Poland,” or Jewish students harassed for wearing a Star of David, it becomes clear this is not about policy, it is about hatred, Moskowitz explains.
Yet despite his honesty, most of the party still refuses to confront the rising antisemitism on the left or acknowledge how deeply Jew hatred has taken root.
Words shape reality, and silence enables extremism. What is needed now are more voices inside the Democratic Party willing to speak the truth. Only then can this problem be confronted and solved.
Thank you Bill Maher for airing Rep. Moskowitz’s comments. Thank you Rep. Moskowitz for making those comments. And, most of all, thank you, Adam Milstein for standing tall against anti-Semitism…as it becomes more and more difficult, even dangerous, to do so.
