A major tip of my hat to Matt Margolis of pjmedia.com, who did the research and has written an article comparing Democrats’ criticism of President Trump during his first term for not doing anything about Maduro’s reign in Venezuela…
…and their criticism of Trump now, after he did what they criticized him for not doing then.
Let me show you just one.
Here’s Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer then:
“And the President brags about his Venezuela policy. Give us a break. He hasn’t brought an end to the Maduro regime. The Maduro regime is more powerful today and more entrenched today than it was when the President began.”
And now:
“This is reckless. And the American people are just, this morning, in fear of what’s going to happen here.”
Hmmmmmmm.
But it’s not just Schumer. Mr. Margolis goes on to show similar then-and-now comments from Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin, Senators Chris Van Hollen, Chris Murphy and others.
You have the link above (here it is again). Do yourself a favor and read them all.
Then spend the rest of your natural life looking for their similar criticism of President Joe Biden during the four years he (or whoever was actually running the government during his term) did not do a thing about Venezuela.
