Chris Christie has been cleared of orchestrating lane closures at the George Washington Bridge.

Again.  For the third time.

From Matt Arco’s article at (the Newark Star-Ledger website):

Municipal prosecutors announced Friday afternoon they will not pursue a criminal misconduct case against  Gov. Chris Christie in the George Washington Bridge lane-closing scandal.

Bergen County assistant prosecutor John Higgins said in a letter Friday that the state does not believe it can prove official misconduct beyond a reasonable doubt.

The case stems from a complaint filed by former Teaneck firefighter William Brennan, who subsequently announced a gubernatorial run.

This is four years now.  Christie had already been cleared by a state investigation – and a federal one, conducted by the Eric Holder Department of Justice, which would have loved to nail him.   Except there was no “there” there.

All this because two lanes of a bridge were closed for four days.

Now ask me what that same Holder Department of Justice did about Operation Fast and Furious.  Or the Clinton email scandal.  Or the Clinton Foundation scandal.  Or the IRS intentionally targeting groups with names suggesting they might be opposed to President Obama.

Another reason to be thrilled that, at least as of now, Obama and Clinton are both gone.

Regardless of what we think of Donald Trump, may those two forever stay where they are.  Nowhere.
