On Wednesday, Israel-hating/Jew-hating campus brownshirts, masked as always to hide their identities, materialized on the campus of Columbia University – where they have been more than welcome for well over a year, it should be noted.
They took over part of the school’s library, and much of the entrance area, with their hateful signs and pro-hamas, pro-intifada chants, thus disrupting school activities for students there to actually learn, and intimidating Jewish students in particular.
They were told to leave and they refused…a situation that in the past, resulted in no police action and little if any punishment.
But not this time.
Acting Columbia President Claire Shipman (what a contrast with the previous leadership!!) explained:
“Due to the number of individuals participating in the disruption inside and outside of the building, a large group of people attempting to force their way into Butler Library creating a safety hazard, and what we believe to be the significant presence of individuals not affiliated with the university, Columbia has taken the necessary step of requesting the presence of NYPD to assist in securing the building and the safety of our community.”
That, folks, is the genteel way of saying “I want them the eff out of here”.
And President Shipman meant it. This time police were called.
But wait. There is more. When the haters realized that, this time, there was no free pass; they might actually be held to account for their actions, and tried to leave….
….they couldn’t. The police disallowed them from leaving, until every one of them was unmasked and identified.
Now, what will happen to them?
Personally, I hope they all will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I would think that goes without saying – though, with Manhattan District Attorney alvin bragg still in charge, I don’t hold out much hope.
But what about the brownshirts who are here on student visas? The ones who can be dealt with by someone other than the disgraceful alvin bragg?
I’ll let Secretary Of State Rubio tell you, via his post on X:
“We are reviewing the visa status of the trespassers and vandals who took over Columbia University’s library.
Pro-Hamas thugs are no longer welcome in our great nation.”
If Rubio is serious – which I have no doubt that he is – and the haters/disrupters/chanters on student visas are tossed out of the country, not only will I be personally thrilled, but I will assume it is a no-doubt message to haters who are here on student visas at schools around the country, that if they do the same, there is a real chance the same fate will befall them.
Let’s see how fast the student visa segment of these sick hate-filled protesters diminishes, when it is clear that they finally are being held to account for their actions. I’m guessing it will be roughly at the speed of light.
