CALLING OUT A MEDIA HYPOCRITE

Yamiche Alcindor is the White House correspondent for the PBS NewsHour and a regular on MSNBC.

She is also a hypocrite.

Yesterday, during President Trump’s news conference, Ms. Alcindor called him out for daring to have a rallies in February and March – March 2 was the latest of them.  She was nice enough to to toss in that she attended the funeral of a COVID-19 victim whose family members “were sick” over his rally taking place.

What Ms. Alcindor didn’t mention and hasn’t, to my knowledge, talked about at a press conference or on air, is that Joe Biden held not one, not two or three or six, but eight rallies in March – six of them after President Trump stopped doing so.

With a nod to Charlie Spiering at breitbart.com, here was Biden’s schedule:

The dates of Joe Biden’s campaign rallies during March were 3/2 in Houston and Dallas; 3/3 in Los Angeles; 3/7 in St. Louis and Kansas City; 3/9 in Grand Rapids and Detroit; and 3/10 in Philadelphia.

Biden’s rally in Detroit was held with Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Sen. Cory Booker, and Sen. Kamala Harris, who endorsed his campaign.

Evidently Biden’s rallies, and the in-person support he got from Whitmer, Booker and Harris, were not a problem and didn’t sicken anyone.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for Yamiche Alcindor to demand to know why Biden continued to hold rallies after President Trump stopped.

The operative word here is hypocrite.  And, in that regard, Ms. Alcindor has plenty of company.

  • why Biden continued to hold rallies after President Trump stopped.

Too easy, because basically no risk of spreading at a Biden rally. 😉
