Here is the letter sent by Nevada Secretary of State Barbara K Cegafske to Terri Albertson, Director of the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (click here for the original):

Dear Director Albertson:

Consistent with the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) and state law, the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) offers voter registration opportunities to persons who apply for driver’s licenses and identification cards.  It has come to our attention that when offering voter registration opportunities to customers, DMV’s employees offer voter registration materials to DMV customers whom they know to be non-citizens based upon their presentation of a Green Card for identification purposes.

More specifically, it is our understanding that some DMV employees have been instructed to accept registration materials from all customers, including those who present a Green Card for identification purposes.  The DMV then forwards all such materials to local election officials for voter registration purposes.  This practice is perhaps attributable to a misinterpretation of the NVRA.  This practice must cease immediately. Please take appropriate actions, as we have reason to believe that non-citizens have unlawfully registered to vote in Nevada as a direct result of DMV’s practices. Moreover, we now have confirmed that some non-citizens illegally cast votes in the 2016 election.”

To insure the integrity of voter registration processes and elections, this office will be requesting records from the DMV in the near future.  We thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.

Lots of luck with that “anticipated cooperation”, Secretary of State Cegafske.

But..but…there’s no such thing as voter fraud.  Democrats tell us so every day.

Still believe them?  Shame on you.
