Did you know that Larry Summers, former President of Harvard and Bill Clinton’s Treasury Secretary, has been caught up in the epstein files?
From Sam Sutton and Victoria Guida’s article for politico.com:
Emails revealed that Summers, who served as Treasury secretary under President Bill Clinton and a top adviser to President Barack Obama, repeatedly sought advice from Epstein on romantically pursuing a woman he referred to as his mentee. Epstein in one message referred to himself as the prominent economist’s “wing man.” Summers in another exchange suggested women in aggregate have a lower IQ than men.
As you may have guessed, Larry Summers is not a Republican. He is a Democrat. And the fact that he was deeply involved with Bill Clinton – who, according to flight logs, rode in epstein’s plane over two dozen times over the years – juuust might suggest he ain’t the only Democrat involved. Not by a long shot.
And that likelihood is further bolstered by the fact that, of the $157,000 epstein contributed to political candidates between 1989 and 2003, $139,000 (almost 90%) went to Democrats – a little something our wonderful “neutral” media somehow keep forgetting to remind us about.
Today, the House of Representatives will vote on whether the epstein files should be released. And it appears to be a slam dunk that they will vote to do so.
My comment to the Democrats who have been wishing – demanding – that all the epstein files be made public is in the title of this blog. To paraphrase that old saying, “Be careful what you wish for. You’re about to get it, and you may not like what you get.”
We’ll see…..
