Sen. BernieSanders, closing out his campaign inIowa, took a strategic gamble in hopes of notching a victory over Hillary Clinton in the state\’s Democratic caucuses Mondaynight: He went negative.
The Sanders campaign ran a new TV spot that implies Mrs.Clinton is in the pocket of Wall Street. And after refusing to talk about theDemocratic front-runner\’s use of a private email server as secretary of state,Mr. Sanders on Sunday called her email practices a “very serious issue” thatcould render her unelectable.
For people who believe that Bernie Sanders – whose authenticity level is dramatically higher than Hillary Clinton\’s ever will be – is immune to being a politician….I would think this disabuses them of that halcyon, but incorrect, thought.
