Yesterday, Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) made an impassioned speech demanding more gun control.
He was guarded by gun-carrying security.
Yesterday New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, all smiles, participated in a “die-in” at Zucotti Park in Manhattan (not incidentally, where the “Occupy Wall Street” movement began).
He was guarded by gun-carrying security.
At this point you might say “Well, of course Sanders and Cuomo were guarded that way. Otherwise they’d be sitting ducks”.
To which I would answer “What the eff do you think the students at Parkland High School were? At Sandy Hook Elementary School? At Columbine? At every other school where murderous shooters opened fire?”
Have an answer for that one?
If not – and I’m betting you don’t – then join me in noting the overt hypocrisy of these two, and so many of their counterparts.
