We are with friends, away from home, and the have Good Morning America on.
Richard Dreyfuss is being interviewed about his latest project. The interviewer (I don\’t know her name) asked how it felt to play “arguably, the most despicable man in modern history?”, The hopelessly partisan, left wing Dreyfuss told her (paraphrasing here) that he was only the second most despicable man he played, because “I played Dick Cheney”.
And there was a big smile, then laugh, from the interviewer, along with extended laughter off camera. Not one word about it being offensive, or controversial. Just a laff riot which everyone enjoyed.
ABC News is hosting next week\’s Republican debate.
