My previous blog advised New York City voters to consider how hateful toward Israel and Jews mayoral candidate zohran mamdani and his wife are.
But, I have to admit, my expectation of enough NYC voters breaking loose from their “the furthest left the better” instinct – especially in Manhattan – is not high. After all, Manhattanites did elect alvin bragg their District Attorney, didn’t they?
Here, from Steven Ertelt’s article at lifenews.com, is his latest outrage (add it to the already-voluminous pile):
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has refused to re-file charges against Brianna Rivers, the woman who violently assaulted pro-life advocate Savannah Craven Antao during a peaceful “woman on the street” video in Manhattan.
The assault and the subsequent mishandling of criminal charges has prompted outrage from pro-life advocates and Craven Antao’s attorneys.
The incident, captured on video, showed Rivers punching Antao in the face while Antao was expressing her pro-life beliefs.
Despite an apology from Bragg’s office acknowledging an “unacceptable error” in the initial handling of the case, the district attorney’s office has now rejected calls to prosecute Rivers, even after legal arguments demonstrated that prosecution remains viable.
Tell me: do you think bragg would have done the same if Savannah Craven Antao was on the other side of this issue?
I think we both know the answer full well. Equal application of the law is -putting it charitably – not alvin bragg’s strong suit.
That said, however…if this is what you vote for, this is what you get. And if you’re happy with it, then congratulations. You got what you wanted. Just don’t complain about it if what goes around, at some point, comes around.
