A QUICK QUESTION FOR ANDREA MITCHELL

A quick question for NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell.

Earlier this week, during a radio interview, Donald Trump reminded Sean Hannity that Bill Clinton was accused of rape.  Afterwards, you cited…

“Donald Trump using that word unprompted during an interview last night with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, bringing up a discredited and long denied accusation against former President Bill Clinton dating back to 1978 when he was Arkansas Attorney General.”

My question:  Discredited by who?

The Clintons and their supporters have denied this claim (big surprise there).  But in what way have they, or anyone else, discredited it?

Point of order:  Andrea Mitchell made that comments several days ago.  And I am far from the only person asking this question.  But, so far, she has not provided any serious answer.

Y’know, that just might lead someone to believe she doesn’t have one….
