My quick question: if, almost certainly due to the tariffs imposed by President Trump, our trade deficit dropped almost in half (imports were down $68.4 billion dollars/exports increased 6.3 billion dollars)…
…and one company after another has committed to building or extending its manufacturing facilities in the United States, which bodes extremely well for jobs/domestic revenue/less reliance on foreign products in the future…
…and the inflation rate has dropped from 3.0% in January (the last month of Biden’s administration) to 2.3% in April, even after Democrats warned Trump’s tariff strategy would raise inflation…
…would it be fair to say that, at least so far, Trump’s economic strategy is showing a few signs of success?
