Today’s quote comes to us from President Obama.
Here is what our Commander In Chief has to say about the Brussels terror attacks, which have (so far) left 34 dead and dozens upon dozens injured:
“We stand in solidarity with them in condemning these outrageous attacks against innocent people.
“We will do whatever is necessary to support our friend and ally Belgium in bringing to justice those who are responsible.
“…the world must unite (in) fighting against the scourge of terrorism.”
There you go. That’s it. That’s the Obama answer.
France, and Belgium, are talking about this as an act of war. But President Obama’s answer is to “bring to justice” the people who are responsible (does that include resurrecting the suicide bombers who detonated the explosives?) and a call for world unity to fight “the scourge of terrorism” – without a word about the source of that terrorism.
In other words, meaningless drivel, which could as easily been written and rehearsed before the bombings ever took place, thus has no relevance to the attacks.
President Obama wins Quote Of The Day honors for providing us with another example of what he means by “leading from behind”, which is to say not leading at all.
Does anyone think Hillary Clinton would say or do anything more?
