For going on a week now, mainstream media have been in an uproar over the horrific treatment afforded Hillary Clinton by that Clinton-hating, woman-hating, Democrat-hating subhuman pig, Karl Rove.
Do they have a point?
Well, here the comment that has caused so many “journalists” to go off the deep end:
“Thirtydays in the hospital? And when she reappears, she\’s wearing glassesthat are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need toknow what\’s up with that?” (NOTE: Rove later revised the hospital stay to three days).
Let\’s start with the fact that Mr. Rove is correct about the fact that she spent time in the hospital. And he is correct that the glasses she wore when leaving the hospital are typically used for people with brain trauma.
Let\’s also add in that no less a source than Hillary\’s husband Bill, tells us she needed 6 months to recover from her injury – which certainly suggests it was a very serious one.
So what did Rove say that was so terrible? And, for that matter, didn\’t Hubby Bubba\’s “6 month” comment suggest her injury was even worse than we heard from Rove?
This, obviously, is another blatant a demonstration of so-called “journalists” acting as Ms. Clinton\’s Accomplice Media.
Rusty Humphries, of the Washington Times, has written a piece which skewers mainstream media for subordinating their professional integrity to their love-fest with Clinton. Here is an excerpt:
Rememberwhen JohnMcCain ran for president in 2008, and the liberal media weredeeply concerned about his age and health? Hardcore left-wing punditsand bloggers weren\’t subtle about it – they madefun of him forhis age, and the health problems he developed while he was a Vietnamprisoner-of-war. They said he was an out-of-touch old man whocouldn\’t even handle a computer keyboard.
Agroup of 2,000doctorsran a full-page ad in The New York Timesdemanding that McCainrelease every last scrap of his medical documentation to the generalpublic. Liberal website Salon.comsaid even thatwasn\’tgood enough – it wanted to see his psychiatric records, too.
Butnow you\’re supposed to forget about all that because politicalconsultant KarlRove had the nerve, theunmitigated gall, toask questions about HillaryClinton\’s health. Hillaryavoided testimony on Benghazi by saying she had passed out anddeveloped a blood clot in her head after a fall. She spent a coupleof days in the hospital, and was out of action for quite a whileafterward. Rove daredtoremember that, and ask if we could see some official medical reportsto reassure us there are no long-term repercussions from theincident, should Mrs.Clinton decide to run for president in 2016.
Is Mr. Humphries wrong? Can anyone say – with a straight face – that Hillary Clinton, the Democrats\’ possible 2016 nominee, is being treated the same as John McCain, 2008\’s Republican nominee?
Point of order: If Hillary Clinton were to win the presidency in 20016, she would be within 3 years of the age John McCain would have been if he won in 2008. And her significant physical injury would have occurred within a few years of taking office, not a few decades as would have been the case with Mr. McCain. Is there any reason to go full-bore into McCain\’s age and physical condition, while either ignoring, glossing over or defending Ms. Clinton\’s?
So we see that now, as has been the case for the last 25 or so years, mainstream media are Hillary\’s (and Bill\’s) Accomplice Media: supposed “journalists” acting as paid propagandists.
Don\’t expect it to change.
