JOHN KERRY\’S IDEA OF “APARTHEID”

Want to know Secretary Of State John Kerry\’s definition of what apartheid is?

Well, here are excerpts from Josh Rogin\’s article at dailybeast.com….in rust, with my comments in blue:

The secretary of state said that if Israel doesn\’t make peace soon, it could become \’an apartheid state,\’ like the old South Africa. Jewish leaders are fuming over the comparison. As they should .  About 20% of Israel\’s citizens are Arabs, and they have rights and privileges in Israel that they could not get in any Arab country on the face of the earth. Did “old South Africa” afford those kinds of rights to its Black citizens? Since the answer is obviously no, Kerry\’s comparison is not just offensive, it is idiotic. And another thing: did this genius mention that Palestinian Arab territories – which, they demand, must be 100% Jew-free – might be apartheid? Uh…nope.  Evidently, in the world of John Kerry, that term only applies to Jews.

It wasn\’t the only controversial comment on the Middle East that Kerry made during his remarks to the Trilateral Commission, a recording of which was obtained by The Daily Beast. Kerry also repeated his warning that a failure of Middle East peace talks could lead to a resumption of Palestinian violence against Israeli citizens. A resumption – the implication being that violence against Israeli citizens currently does not exist? Holy excrement. He suggested that a change in either the Israeli or Palestinian leadership could make achieving a peace deal more feasible. He lashed out against Israeli settlement-building. There you go.  fatah aligns with terrorist hamas and that\’s not the problem. The problem is that Israelis build settlements on land that, without a negotiated settlement, they have every bit as much right to as Arabs. And Kerry said that both Israeli and Palestinian leaders share the blame for the current impasse in the talks. Sure. Israel wants peaceful coexistence and Palestinian Arabs want Israel vaporized with every Jew dead. Who couldn\’t see the parallel between those two positions?

Kerry also said that at some point, he might unveil his own peace deal and tell both sides to “take it or leave it.”  Wow, what a threat that is. After 47 years of negotiations resulting in no peace, Kerry is going to make a take-it-or-leave-it offer as if that would mean a thing to either side.

Has anyone seen the Wizard of Oz lately?  Because we have a Secretary of State so desperately in need of a brain that even the Scarecrow would defer to him.
