How worried are the Obamanites about the IRS (Lie-RS as I call it) scandal? Worried enough to send the House Minority Whip out to justify lois “liar” lerner\’s invoking of the fifth amendment?

LoisLerner has twice invoked the Fifth Amendment to avoid testifying inCongress about her time as the IRS\’s head of tax-exemptorganizations, despite evidence that the IRS targeted conservativesduring her tenure.
Inan interview on “Fox and Friends,” Hoyer claimed that Lerner\’suse of the Fifth Amendment to resist congressional investigators ismerely a tool to protect herself from the government.
Lerner\’sattorney probably advised her not to testify, Hoyer said, “becausethe Republicans have been talking about criminal activity as opposedto trying to find out exactly what happened.”
Oh, ok. That explains it.
See, the reason lois lerner first told us she did nothing wrong, and then copped the fifth – two different times – isn\’t because she\’s a lying sack of manure, who headed the IRS tax-exempt division as it worked diligently to suppress the speech of groups critical of Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats. Noooo, not at all.
It\’s just a Republican plot. Yeah, that\’s the ticket.
The more we know about this, the dirtier it is…and the more likely that, as much of a scandal as it already seems to be, it might be even bigger.
