How many lies does Senate Majority Leader harry reid have to tell before media calls him out as being a liar?
Here is the latest, via excerpts from John McCormack\’s piece at weeklystandard.com:
Senatemajority leader Harry Reid has a whole page on his officialSenate.gov website devoted to revealing “THEFACTS ABOUT THE KOCH BROTHERS.” One of the alleged factspromoted on Reid\’s website is that the Kochs do not pay any corporatetaxes:
“Theyare known for bankrolling conservative, Libertarian and Tea Partycauses and became poster boys for corporate tax reform last year whenan Obama Administration official suggested Koch is organized as an SCorp. and so pays no corporate level taxes.”

InOctober 2010, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said that Goolsbee\’s claim”waswrong.” But that hasn\’t stopped the Senate majority leaderfrom promoting the claim four years later.
How does harry reid know this? Has he seen the Koch Brothers\’ corporate tax filings? Did he get this information from the same source he got the lie that Mitt Romney had not paid taxes for 10 years?
How does this absolute joke of a U.S. Senator get away with lying as much as he does, about as many things as he lies about?
Unfortunately, I can answer that in two words: Accomplice Media.
As long as our remarkably compromised media cover for the lies told by this administration and its spokespeople, more lies will be told.
And if recent history is any indicator, you can count on them doing so.
