THE UNION-SHOP PRESIDENCY

This blog is for anyone who has not yet figured out that the Obama administration is owned and operated by the big unions (which, given the past five years, would – I hope – be relatively few, but you never know).

Excerpted from Patrick Howley\’s article at dailycaller.com:

Unionrepresentatives from the Service Employees International Union (SEIU)are now accompanying federal government safety inspectors on sitevisits to review labor complaints at nonunion private businesses,The Daily Caller has learned.

SEIUand other labor unions can accompany the governmentinspectors on site visits due to a quiet and contested Obamaadministration rule clarification issued last year in response to arequest from a union representative.

How can this be? How can the representative of a clearly biased party be allowed to accompany government safety inspectors – a party which obviously will benefit if the representative “finds” something – anything – it can pin on the companies being inspected?

Well, according to Mr. Howley\’s report, “OSHA\’s published regulation on the matter does not refer to unions, but allows for an OSHA-approved \’third party who is not an employee of the employer (such as an industrial hygienist or a safety engineer)\’ to accompany an OSHA inspector.”

So, as you can plainly see, this is happening because a seemingly innocuous little regulation is being used by Obama & Co. to stack the deck against any company that dares not to fill the pockets of big unions.

Does the opposite happen?  Do federal government safety inspectors bring along representatives from non-union companies to check on union shops?  Only in your dreams.

If, after reading this, anyone still wonders how deep the Obama administration is in the unions\’ pockets, I will assume they are beyond reach.

Let me end by taking the opportunity to thank Patrick Howley – whose work I often reference in this blog – for being a serious investigative journalist – i.e. doing what his counterparts in mainstream media are supposed to do, but don\’t; at least not as long as Barack Obama is President and Democrats run the senate.  (What happens when one of them tries?  See Sharyl Attkisson about that).

Thank you, Mr. Howley.  And shame on the so-called “journalists” who have foregone their profession to become Barack Obama\’s Accomplice Media.  You disgrace your profession.
