HAMAS\’ “COMMITMENT TO PEACE”

While we\’re on the subject of hamas….

Here, again from Elad Benari at Israelnationalnews.com, is how hamas would view any international military group which might be used to facilitate peace between Gaza and Israel:

PalestinianAuthority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s suggestionthat NATO forces be deployed in the future Palestinian state isnot well-received by his rivals, the Hamas rulers of Gaza.

Aspokesman for Hamas said Friday that the faction would regard anyinternational military presence within a future Palestinian state as”occupation” forces, reported the Ma\’annews agency.

Duringa rally in southern Gaza, spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said that anyinternational forces stationed in “Palestine” as a result of apeace agreement with Israel would be treated the same as “theIsraeli occupation.”

Are you surprised? I would hope not – certainly if you read this blog, which has, more times than I can remember, posted the relevant parts of hamas\’ own charter which negate any and all peace negotiations.

Here they are:

-Surat Al-Imran (III), verses 109-111 Israel will rise and will remain erect until Islam eliminates it as it had eliminated its predecessors. (first paragraph of the charter)

-The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinct Palestinian Movement which owes its loyalty to Allah, derives from Islam its way of life and strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine. (beginning of Article 6)

-[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement. For renouncing any part of Palestine means renouncing part of the religion; the nationalism of the Islamic Resistance Movement is part of its faith, the movement educates its members to adhere to its principles and to raise the banner of Allah over their homeland as they fight their Jihad (Beginning of Article 13)

That clear enough for you?

I hope so. Because it isn\’t clear enough for the “peace at any price” navel-gazers, who don\’t see obstacles such as an ironclad commitment to take over every inch of Israel, and to ignore all peace conferences as a problem.

They – and most of the rest of the world – demand that Israel make peace with these people.

How?
