This maybe a bit of a surprise, but today\’s quote comes to us from the late Richard Nixon.
It seems that Mr Nixon, during an interview with David Frost, made a statement about the presidency that our current Oval Office occupant has wholeheartedly endorsed.
When queried on the legal limitations a president works with in, Mr Nixon said this:
“Well, when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal”
Now think how about how many times President Obama has unilaterally changed Obamacare – which, at least on paper, is the sole province of Congress. And then think about his unilateral granting of de facto amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.
Is it not clear that Mr. Obama subscribes to the Nixon concept of presidential legality 100%?
I award quote of the day honors, therefore, to Richard Nixon, for setting up a presidential standard so many years ago, that apparently has stood the test of time. Certainly for Barack Obama.
