This is a challenge to all of the politicians I postcomments about, regardless of whether they are positive or negative — and everyone else.
There is nothing more important than fighting cancer in all its forms. And, since my family (I am just a small part of this) actively fights against “rare cancers” through participation in Cycle For Survival, Iam asking that whichever politicians (in case any read this blog) or supportersor detractors of politicians, or anyone at all, contribute what you can to thiseffort.
As you may be aware, 100% of the money donated to Cycle ForSurvival goes directly to the fight against these cancers, which – despite thathighly misleading description – include pediatric cancers, leukemia, lymphoma,and thyroid, ovarian and pancreatic cancers.
In fact, they account for about 50% of all cancer patientsin the United States…which, I think you\’ll agree, is anything but”rare”.
I doubt there is a person in this country who has not beenaffected by one or another of these cancers. So let\’s DO something about it.
Any donation will be appreciated…but I don\’t have to tellyou that the more we collect, the more research can take place.
And, as an extra stimulus, I promise that, for an entireweek, I will say only the nicest things I can about any politician who takes meup on this challenge, regardless of what I have said about him or her in thepast. And not one negative thing during that time.
Even Donald, Ted and Hillary. Let\’s see how big you are….how much more important this is than any political differences we may have.
Writing a political blog is just something I do. Fighting cancer is something every one of us should be fully involved in.
