In case you were wondering who funds “The Palestinians”,…
…we have this illuminating information from Joseph Puder\’s article at frontpagemag.com:
…the U.S. government alone provided the Palestinianswith an amount of $408,751,396 in 2014. The European Union contributionin 2014 was $139,402,221; the United Kingdom\’s $95,328,127; Sweden\’s$79,975,260; Germany\’s $54,838,742 and Norway\’s $35,911,782. Together, with other western governments including Japan, Switzerland, Australia, Netherlands,Denmark, France, Italy, Belgium, Finland, and Ireland, the total came to over$1 billion. That amount reflects only government contributions and notnon-governmental agencies (NGO\’s). Global Humanitarian Assistance reported thatthe international humanitarian response from 2002 to 2011 provided the WestBank and Gaza Palestinians with $6.7 billion.
Few other people inthe world or in a given territory have received the generous aid and as muchattention from the international community as the Palestinians have, certainlynot the Kurds or the Tibetans who have suffered persecution and been denied self-determination. In terms of per capita dollar amount, Palestinians are on top of thelist. According to a report by the Global Humanitarian Assistance, in2013 the Palestinians received $849 million inInternational aid. This amounted to $176 for each Palestinian, by far thehighest per capita in the world. Syria, where more than 250,000 peoplewere killed and 6.5 million refugees have been displaced since 2011, receivedonly $106 per capita.
So where does this money go?
Well, it doesn\’t go much for infrastructure. And it doesn\’t go much for social services. And it doesn\’t go much for science, medicine or technology.
So where do you suppose? Yep, you got that right.
Now tell me: Since Palestinian Arabs have spent decades complaining that they live in destitution, and have little freedom of movement, do you think that if the copious funding they receive were used for infrastructure, and social services, and science and medicine and technology, instead of for the weapons and equipment to obliterate Israel and kill every Jew there, they might be a tad better off?
Do you think Israel would blockade “Palestinian territories” if the people there were engaging in peaceful coexistence instead of teaching their children, from the time they are educable, that Jews are the spawn of pigs and monkeys who must be killed…and that their killers get a one way ticket to spend eternity with Allah?
But what does any of this matter, since Palestinian Arabs have been, and remain, fully committed to just that, and their quality of life is nothing more than a political strategy to sway gullible people into believing Israel and Israel alone is responsible for their circumstances.
These are the people the world demands that Israel make peace with.
How?
