THE MARCH FOR LIFE

Ken Berwitz

Yesterday tens of thousands of people braved forecasts (which turned out to be correct) of a major blizzard, and converged on Washington DC for the annual “March For Life”, which is held, each January 22nd – the anniversary of the Supreme Court\’s Roe v Wade decision.

Did you read about that anywhere but here?

If not – and it\’s a good bet you didn\’t – I suggest you think about the fact that a half dozen blacklivesmatter disrupters showing up at a town hall, or a cindy sheehan (remember her?) sitting on a folding chair with a half dozen or so others outside of George Bush\’s Texas ranch, or a few Code Pink protesters wearing vagina outfits at a senate hearing, generates more news coverage than this yearly march, which usually has attendance in six figures.

I do not care whether you agree with the beliefs of these marchers or not.  This is news.  And not reporting it is suppression of news.

Shame on our media for allowing partisan beliefs to supersede journalistic integrity.
