Here is the latest FROM Chris Matthews -a media personality who used to be much, much better than the disgusting creature he has become.
First, we have Matthews\’ insulting aimed at constitutional lawyer/successful radio host Mark Levin:
“Oh my God, Mark Levinis one of the most distasteful human beings out there.”
And here is Mr. Levin\’s reaction – proving that he is not exactly a shrinking violent when it comes to answering in kind:
“Boy oh boy, Chris Matthews finds me distasteful. I find him to be a puke. Therethey are, spending time with Saturday Night Live, about Ted Cruz lookinglike he’s taking a leak, on a putative \’news\’ show, and I\’mdistasteful…Thisguy\’s a nobody….
But Matthews was not finished. No no no. He then went on to grossly insult Rush Limbaugh\’s radio audience:
“Let me tell you howhis brilliance works. He on at noon to 3, Eastern time, when guys in car washesand places like diners are watching. I don\’t knock people that have to work fora living. It\’s tough jobs they have. Limbaugh knows what he\’s doing, working the traveling salesman who hates his job.”
No, Chris Matthews wasn\’t insulting people who work in blue collar jobs. I\’m sure that people who work in car washes, diners, and as sales reps, regardless of whether they listen to or like Rush Limbaugh, feel very edified.
What a low-class, sneering condescending statement that is.
I have not heard Limbaugh\’s response. But I am pretty certain there will be one…and will update this blog if/when I find out what it is.
Oh, one other thing: Rush Limbaugh has a radio show. You don\’t “watch” a radio show.
Yes, it is true that Limbaugh streams live for premium subscribers to his web site. But I doubt that many car wash, diner, and sales people are stopping work for three hours to watch.
But keep on insulting them, Chris. I\’m sure they all will readily acknowledge your superiority….
