WOULD THIS BE THE END OF HILLARY CLINTON (IF WE HAD NEUTRAL MEDIA, THAT IS)?

Ken Berwitz

With a major tip of my imaginary hat to Ed Morrissey at hotair.com, whose latest blog has what you are about to see, complete with an excellent analysis of what it should mean, this series of emails, between then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Jake Sullivan, her Deputy Chief of Staff, has just come to light. As with any email sequence, the chronological order is from bottom (the earliest) to top (the most recent):

In Ed\’s words:

“If they can\’t, turn into nonpaper w no identifying heading and send nonsecure.” That\’s an order to violate the laws handling classified material. There is no other way to read that demand. Regardless of whether or not Sullivan complied, this demolishes Hillary\’s claim to be ignorant of marking issues, as well as strongly suggests that the other thousand-plus instances where this did occur likely came under her direction.

What would a neutral media do with this email?  How fast would it be lead-story material if the party in question were, say, Marco Rubio, or Ted Cruz?  Would it be the end of their campaigns?

Now watch those same media look the other way, shuffle their feet, scratch their heads and ask about the weather.  Anything but discussing the implications of Hillary Clinton\’s demand that her Deputy Chief of Staff remove the “secure” markings on emails so – security be damned – she can get them faster..

Let\’s give it a day or two, see if I\’m right or wrong.
