Today\’s quote comes to us from Donald Trump. Speaking to an audience of Jewish Republicans, he said this:
I\’m a negotiator like you, folks…Is there anyone in this room who doesn\’t negotiate deals? Probably more than any room I\’ve ever spoken.”
This, I assume is supposed to ingratiate him to Jews.
Just wondering: Would he tell a Black audience “Is there anyone in this room who doesn\’t like basketball? Probably more than any room I\’ve ever spoken.”
Or how about telling an Irish audience “Is there anyone in this room who doesn\’t enjoy a nice pint of Guinness? Probably more than any room I’ve ever spoken.”
I mean, heck; if you\’re going to use an overt stereotypes, why stop at Jews being good negotiators?
This is exactly the kind of crap I would expect from a barroom loudmouth…
…which is why I am in no way surprised that it came from Donald Trump, who wins Quote Of The Day honors for showing the readers of this blog why I have been calling him The World\’s Richest Barroom Loudmouth since the beginning of the summer.
