BOMBING THE SHIT OUT OF IRAN

Trump warned Iran about this.  Trump gave Iran over a month of “negotiations” (with who?  About what?  Know one knows) to prevent what is now happening.

Instead, Iran, emboldened by what its “leadership” may have misconstrued as weakness on Trump’s part, decided it could play him the way it played Obama and whoever was running the Biden administration.

It didn’t work.

From Melissa Koenig’s article for London’s Daily Mail:

Trump reveals details of high-stakes phone call after striking Iran with dozens of Tomahawk missiles as Tehran makes desperate plea for attacks to stop

President Donald Trump has claimed Iranian officials called him directly after the United States launched a new round of ‘self-defense’ strikes on the country Wednesday.

He claimed to Fox News that the top officials in Tehran begged him to halt the US bombing attacks, which began at 5.15pm ET.

US Central Command said the strikes came at the ‘Commander-in-Chief’s direction’ and were ‘in response to Iran’s unwarranted and continued aggression.’

The ‘precision munitions’ struck ‘military surveillance capabilities, communication systems, and air defense sites,’ CENTCOM said.

More strikes may also be forthcoming, President Donald Trump warned.

‘We will bomb the Iranians again tomorrow night if they refuse to sign the proposed deal,’ he told Fox, adding that the bombing would stop soon but if Tehran did not sign a peace deal ‘we’ll bomb the s**t out of them.’

It appears that the United States, no doubt strengthened by the restocking of our offensive weapons which took place while Iran’s games were being played, is doing what Trump said he would do if Iran didn’t capitulate.  He has ordered our military to “bomb the shit out of them”.

And if the bombing targets are selected intelligently (which I assume they are),  we are taking out as much of Iran’s remaining offensive capabilities as possible – capabilities we probably have learned about as Iran ongoingly ignored the supposed “ceasefire” they agreed to.

Anyone who has read this blog recently knows I have become more and more concerned about whether President Trump was going the way of Obama, and enabling the “leaders” of Iran to play a “rope-a-dope” game with us while they re-armed and continued to aggress against their neighbors, most notably Israel.

It is my pleasure to see that this is not the case.

I hope he takes the murderous mullahs and their hate-filled administration out, but good.  The neighbors of Iran both Israel and non-Israel – and the rest of the world, deserve better.

Let’s hold off to see if/how it occurs.
