The May jobs report just came out.
And, for the third straight month, job growth exceeded estimates – this time by more than double (172,000 new jobs, versus 85,000 expected).
Three months of higher-than-expected job growth – not just by a few thousand, but by plenty.
Now tell me: how much media coverage have these very positive numbers generated? Other than maybe – maybe – an in-passing mention, how much coverage have you personally come in contact with?
And what does this tell you about the quality/fairness of media coverage when there is good news for the current administration?
End of blog.
