If you are a Republican, Mandy Tehari’s article for Newsweek, titled “AOC’s chances of beating Kamala Harris to be Democratic 2028 nominee—poll”, must have you spontaneously salivating at the thought.
Here is how it begins:
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez trails former Vice President Kamala Harris in a new hypothetical 2028 Democratic presidential primary poll.
The Lake Research Partners survey, which tested potential ranked-choice voting scenarios, found Harris ahead of Ocasio-Cortez and other possible contenders, including California Governor Gavin Newsom, showing that progressive candidates like the New York congresswoman may face hurdles in consolidating broad support within the Democratic electorate.
Can you imagine the Democrat Party putting up Kamala Harris a second time? Based on her, er “performance” in 2024, that would be like signing a suicide pact.
And even Harris would be a better shot than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – who, like Harris, has never run a thing or made a payroll in her life, and who, in her fourth term as a congressperson, has never had even one bill go through congress/pass into law?
And that’s before we get to Gavin Newsom, whose record as Mayor of San Francisco and Governor of California shows absolutely no benefit to the people of that city or that state, just a major disintegration of living conditions for anyone who doesn’t go through life with his/her hand out.
