My previous blog noted that Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) was (and, to the best of my knowledge, still is) a member of an all-White beach club.
By contrast, Donald Trump – who has been tarred as a racist/hitler wannabe by Democrats for years – was the guy who forced a beach club in Florida to accept Black and Jewish voters.
Want the particulars? Here is my blog of June 22, 2021, with all the details:
SHELDON WHITEHOUSE VS. DONALD TRUMP: WHO’S THE RACIST?
Sheldon Whitehouse is a United States Senator from Rhode Island.
Donald Trump is a former President of the United States.
Sheldon Whitehouse is a left wing (not liberal left wing) Democrat who claims to support racial equity.
I couldn’t agree more.
Donald Trump is a conservative Republican who claims to support racial equity.
Sheldon Whitehouse has, for his adult life, belonged to Bailey’s Beach Club in Newport, Rhode Island – an all-White club. And his wife, Sandra, is a major shareholder…because, when accused of hypocrisy for belonging to this racist club, Whitehouse claimed to divest himself of the shares – but, in reality did nothing but transfer them to his wife. To this day, despite claiming he’s “trying to do something” about the club’s overt racist policy, Sheldon Whitehouse defends the club and remains a member in good standing.
Donald Trump is a conservative Republican who, when he decided to turn his Mar-a-lago property from a residence to a high-end club, insisted that – unlike just about every other such club in Palm Beach, Florida – it be integrated. Anyone, White or Black or Christian or Jewish, who could afford the membership fee was welcome there. To accomplish this required a massive fight against the Palm Beach powers that be,. Trump fought that fight and won.
Sheldon Whitehouse vs. Donald Trump: who’s the racist?
You tell me.
Any questions?
