Today’s quote comes to us from Dave Portnoy, who founded the popular “barstool sports” website.
But his quote has nothing to do with sports. It has to do with the fact that New York City Mayor zohran mamdani’s wife, the former rama duwaji, clearly supported the October 7th, 2023 hamas massacre in Israel.
Here is what Portnoy had to say about it:
“Why is this is a story? Of course Mamdani’s wife celebrated the Oct 7th attack. The Mamdani’s haven’t hid who they are at all. They are Terrorist sympathizing communists. They wear it loud and proud. Anybody who paid an ounce of attention knew that going in and he still won. That’s the real problem. Not that the terrorist lover is acting like a terrorist lover.”
I award Dave Portnoy Quote Of The Day honors for being 100% correct about something I wish he was wrong about: pointing out where mamdani and his wife’s sympathies lie regarding Israel and how obvious those sympathies were during the Mayoral campaign.
But things are as they are. This is who New York City has installed as its Mayor for the next four years.
I hope the voters there – particularly Israel-supporting voters who put partisan politics above reality and voted for mamdani – are now learning a painful lesson.
But I doubt it.
