“WE ARE GOING TO RUN THE COUNTRY UNTIL….”

“We are going to oversee Venezuela until there are elections, which will be held under international supervision so we know they will be legitimate”

That would have been the correct course of action.

But this is Donald Trump.  Mr. Over The Top.  So what are we getting instead?

“We are going to run the country until…”?

“We are going to run the country until…”??????

How does that make us look to the rest of the world?  Like saviors of Venezuela, or invading imperialists?

This is not good.  Not good in the least.

Leave it to Donald Trump to go a million miles over the top.  To take what should be a major win, and turn it into an opportunity for enemies of the United States, and enemies of Trump personally, to condemn us and him.
